HOLDEN BEACH DAY 5

Woke to another cloudy morning here at Holden Beach but at least they do not look like threatening rain clouds.
After breakfast we all headed out to the beach except Aa and BB who took extended naps this morning.
The tide was pretty high this morning and daughter and hubbie decided to do some fishing while we
waited for the kids.

No fish caught today !!
G-son and EL had fun ....

And g-daughter who is feeling better from her "foot and mouth" sickness had fun with her dad .

These four ,daughter, Re, g-son and EL got into a rousing frisbee toss game to work up an appetite for lunch.

We all went in for lunch and then BB got his turn at the beach with Pawpaw.

He isn't feeling well this evening and we are thinking he is getting what g-daughter has with a fever and not eating.
Everyone but Aa's family packed it in off the beach about 3:30.
#2 son, Tiffany, daughter, hubbie and I got ready to go out to eat. We were driving down to North Myrtle beach to have the seafood buffet and all u can eat crab legs at Preston's buffet.

It was an hour drive but we had no line to wait in to be seated and could eat off the buffet immediately so it all worked out and the food was very good there.
Thanks #2 son and Tiffany for treating us.

We made it back just in time to walk down the beach to check the turtle hatching but we were a couple hours too late to catch one of the nest being closed and 18 baby turtles coming out of it.
They were roping off another nest a little farther down the beach and we talked with the Holden beach Commissioner who was helping . We had a very interesting conversation as he was very knowledgible about the area.
There were three deer running around the dunes in front of our beach house this evening.
#1 son and Aa went fishing this evening while the rest of us rested.
Thanking God for the blessings of this day and asking for His care for the the days ahead.
God Bless and Good Night
