BUSY MARKET DAY AND HURRICANE NATE HEADED OUR WAY

That alarm sounded way too early this morning !!!
I dragged myself out of the warm bed and got chores done and got ready for market in a dazed feeling stupor but I made it !
We found several customers waiting to pick up their orders when we arrived at market . It took awhile to get everything set up with all the activity but that is a good way to start a market day.
Daughter and IR came in and she brought more baked goods . IR was a happy girl today as usual and was entertaining to customers as they passed by.
We had a very good sales day today with a good crowd of customers all throughout the day.
Hubbie left early to get home and get the gutters cleaned out and do some storm preparations around the farm as we expect some heavy rains from hurricane Nate as he passes to the west of us starting early tomorrow.
Daughter stayed and helped with sales all day.
I made a stop at Aldi for baking supplies and then stopped at Walmart to pick up a Roku device so we can get Netflix on our extra TV which is not a smart TV.
I made it home and hubbie helped unload the Honda before we both crashed for a rest on this cloudy afternoon.
As I did chores this evening the air feels like a humid late summer day and the clouds from Nate are already working their way into the area.
Hubbie and I had supper then we tried to get the Roku to work on the extra TV but when the sales clerk said how simple it was I got worried and you guessed it we couldn't get to the correct screen on the TV to make it work. Oh well I'll bet g-son can figure it out in a snap tomorrow when he gets here.
It has been a good day for all the family today as I say thankful prayers for safe travel and protection in all that everyone is doing today.
#1 son and the kids were at his mother-in-law's in Rutherfordton  all day putting flooring down  in her new house.
#2 son and Tif made a trip to Pigeon Forge for a fun day .
D-in-love looks like her and her friends are enjoying their relaxing weekend.
As Hurricane Nate makes landfall tonight I say a prayer once again for all the folks in the path of this newest storm as it has already taken over 20 lives in the places it has passed over .
Thankful for the blessings of my day and so grateful for the love of Jesus Christ.
God Bless and Good Night
