CHRISTMAS SHOPPING TRIP

Up to greet just RL this morning. I did chores then took her to pre-school.
Daughter is taking a "mental health" day off work today. She is having a not so good year in her classes this year with over 30 high school students in each class she says she feels like she is just "herding" kids instead of teaching her curriculum.
Anyway this is a nice day off for her  and we went to the Asheville outlets to do some Christmas shopping.  And this little sweetie was her usual well behaved self the entire day of shopping.
She slept a lot of the time even on the bumpy ride in the stroller in and out of all the stores.
We got some presents bought and of course found a few things for ourselves but the sales are not really that good yet.
We left the outlets and stopped by the farmers market for a bag of Lee Fruit which is hubbie's favorite citrus.

I was really disappointed at the small amount of vendors at the market today and the higher prices of everything.  That supply and demand thing was definitely in place today !!!!
We only bought a small bag and headed home.
We got home about 3:00 and daughter left to get home in front of the school buses.
Hubbie and I got the decoration containers hauled back to the storage shed and then did chores a little early as the clouds have really darkened quickly this evening making it feel like snow is closer than the forecasters say it is.
I emptied 1/2 inch of rain from the gauge this evening from last night's rain but now we are supposed to get snow on Friday according to all the forecast just not sure how much yet.
After we watched the news I headed to my office to get the weekly paperwork and bills paid before Survivor came on TV.
I watched that and then iced cakes and got things ready for market.
I got into bed about midnight.
Thanking God tonight for traveling mercies today and for the blessing of another wonderful day.
God Bless and Good Night.
